Castlegate Festival, Exchange Street

Castlegate is the historic heart of Sheffield. The area gets its name from the fact that it was once the site of the town’s castle. In the centuries since, it's housed bustling marketplaces, while its riverside has recently been transformed with green public spaces. Castlegate Festival 2021 was a celebration of the area's past, present and future, with music, street art, markets, walks and family fun.

I painted this mural for the festival - A free, one-day music festival and market. RiteTrax hosted an outdoor stage featuring live music from The Mouse Outfit, Otis Mensah, K.O.G. and more. With a skate jam on Exchange Street alongside live street art.
